Whats New

Well I guess it's been a while so here's an update:
We went to a Cincinatti Reds game over Memorial Day weekend. It was a lot of fun, even if it did get rained out in the 4th inning!

Lexie: she is walking all over the place, she still doesn't have any hair, she's gotten really good at clapping, waving, and we just recently taught her to throw her arms up when we say touchdown. She has started climbing all over the place and she still has the most determined personality of any 10 month old I know.
(Here she climbed into the dishwasher)
She loves to play with other kids, go to the zoo (mainly to watch the kids, not so much the animals), swing and go down the slide, and she absolutely loves books. If she starts fussing in the car, I'll just hand her a book and she's happy.

James: This coming week is finals week so he has been studying hard for those. Which means late nights, early mornings, and sometimes no sleep at all. After finals are over, he'll have 3 weeks to study boards. He actually isn't taking the boards until July 9th, which is the first week he's back in school. We can't wait until boards are over. He will start working on patients this August and his schedule will be a lot easier so he can be around a lot more. And I'm sure golf more as well.

Me: I got a piano a few weeks ago that I'm really excited about. It's a Clavinova and we got it for a great deal on Craig's List.
(Lexie likes the piano too.)
I start back to work on June 15th. I will be working contingent, which is less than part time.

Some girls in my ward made the absolute cutest little Mary Jane baby shoes so in the last few weeks I taught myself how to crochet so I could make some. I got the patterns online. Click here for the website. She has so many cute things!

I think they turned out really well for my first crochet project.
There are a ton of mistakes, but they look pretty good overall.

You are so crafty! I should be better at using my time, then I could maybe get my scrapbook done...
