Camera

Our photography class is now over. I really enjoyed it, and felt like I learned a lot. We had a class on capturing motion in different ways...James just thinks it looks like a bad picture, but the goal was to get the subject still with the background in motion. It's really hard to do...here are a few of my attempts:
Lexi blowing on dandelions...What a cheeseball!

My little diva...

Gymnastics

Lexi took a gymnastics class this spring with a few of her friends, Jadyn and Whitney. She loved it!
Miss Lexi mid-jump on the trampoline... Miss Whitney on the balance beam.....and Miss Jadyn on the obstacle course...

How cute are they?!?

Babies and Graduations, Oh My!

Wow, my family has had a crazy busy last month! My youngest sister Kelsie graduated from BYU Idaho in April....My sister Rosie had her first baby a few weeks later, a cute little baby boy...This is the face of a future Canadian farmer, following in the footsteps of his daddy. My mom graduated with her Master's degree from SDSU... My brother Sam graduated with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from USD...(Jessica wrote on FB that she was explaining to Joseph that his dad is now "Dr. Bair" and Joseph said "I don't want him to be a doctor!" How funny is that!)
And last, but definitely not least, my oldest sister Megan had her second baby girl...Abigale Aloha Buhler was born Mother's Day morning.

Wow, it's been crazy...my poor mom! She has done nothing but travel these past few months!!

James 30th Bday Weekend

Wow, we had a busy but awesome weekend celebrating James 30th birthday! Marlo, Deanna, and Chloe Bell came up from Texas (this was originally going to be a surprise, and I kept it for a surprise for 6 months while everything was in the works, and then I ended up telling James right before they bought their tickets just to make sure everything would happen smoothly.) Jason, Sarah, and Lynlee Nelson also spent the weekend with us...it's going to be so sad when they move next month! (James, Marlo, and Jason have been friends for years--they grew up together...and we all of our girls were born within 4 months of each other!)
How cute is this? Chloe and Lexi looking out the window together...our girls played so well with each other!
Lexi was begging for the camera, it goes something like this: "Me cheese too. I do it momma."Going in for the hug in matching PJs....Lexi's enjoying it, not so sure about Chloe!Marlo and Deanna came in late Friday night, and Saturday morning James and Marlo went golfing then when they got back Deanna and I went to the mall for a little while. (Jason and Sarah were running a half marathon that morning.) Then, we all met up for lunch at our house and then we spent the rest the evening in Amish country. I forgot my camera that day, so I need to get those pictures from Marlo and Deanna.
On Sunday, we went to Kirtland, OH. We had a picnic lunch when we got there...Chloe and Lexi eating doritos by the car (I didn't realize at the time that they were sticking their fingers in the car). I think their faces are hilarious in this picture:Playing around (Lynlee was in the car sleeping)...
Lexi posing for a picture...so cute!
Lil Miss Lynlee...she is such a doll, every time I would get the camera out she would look up and say cheese...she is so good to have her picture taken! I wish she was looking at the camera in this pic, but I still think its super cute!Lexi hates it when her hands or feet are dirty...here she is trying to wipe off her feet... Just about the cutest picture ever! These girls had so much fun together!
Huddle!
Sharing M&Ms...Kirtland is such a pretty place! Everything is so green! We got lucky and made it to the last day of "Reflections of Christ." (This is a traveling exhibit of photography by Mark Mabry) It is really amazing photography, the website is www.reflectionsmg.com ) This is one of my favorites:
All the girls were such good sports putting up with all of the driving we did this weekend...We did give them food and toys to help keep them entertained. Can you tell Chloe enjoyed her chocolate chip granola bar?!

Lounging around...
Bath time! There were so many cute bathtub pictures, but here are just a few...
Lynlee wasn't too impressed having water poured on her head...
Snuggled up in PJs in the recliner....
The girls....
Happy Birthday James!!

I surprised James with a golf membership to OSU's golf course...he had no idea it was coming! Thanks everyone for making his birthday great! He told me it was his best birthday ever! (now the bar is set high for mother's day this weekend! (haha))
