OSU vs Michigan

James' brother Devan came to visit Thanksgiving weekend. The boys spent Saturday at the OSU vs. Michigan game(we won!) and then came home and continued the football weekend marathon with the Utah vs. BYU game (Utah won!), and a bunch of other games that were on that weekend. On Monday, we went to Canton to the NFL Hall of Fame, and then went up to Kirtland. We had a great time having Devan here, including Lexi who wouldn't leave him alone the whole time!

Thanksgiving Festivities!!

We started out our Thanksgiving celebration with a PIE PIG OUT!! Everyone brought a pie/thanksgiving treat and we loaded our plates with a piece of everything! The girls....Sorry, no pictures of husbands or kids(but they were also there stuffing their bellies!) Wednesday night we stayed at an indoor waterpark resort in town called Fort Rapids. We had a blast...We swam Wed night and almost all day Thursday. Then they had a delicious all-you-can-eat Thanksgiving buffet. (Then we headed home, full of delicious food, super tired, and we didn't have to cook or clean a thing!)
The boys playing basketball...Lexi and Emri swinging. (Jami and I are both due in February)
Daddy and Lexi playing in the water...Lexi swimming...Lexi kept asking Sherri to take her picture!Winding down with Shayne....All of us at dinner (Clarkes, Andertons, Williams, Perrys, and us) Thanks to Sherri for taking all the great pictures for us!
Happy Thanksgiving!

Catching up

Lexi was soooo excited to be Snow White this year for Halloween. The night we went trick or treating was the coldest night of the year so far, so Lexi wore her pajamas and coat out. I gave her an apple to take a picture with, and she decided to take a bite out of it! I guess that's what Snow White did too...Silly girl!Maddie was also Snow White this year. If you asked Lexi what she was going to be for Halloween, her reply was always "Snow White, just like Maddie!"Lexi has been into posing for pictures and then wanting to see the camera so she can see herself in the picture. What did people do before digital camera?! Playing with Maddie and Janie at the park. Lexi loves these girls, and is so excited to have a sister "just like Janie and Maddie are sisters."We went to a wedding in October and Lexi was super excited to get to dance with daddy. (She also got to dance with some of her friends. It was super cute, I don't know why I didn't get any pictures of that!)

Birthday Friends

I have some catching up to do! Lexi and I got passes to Zoombezi Bay Waterpark this summer, and had a great time spending some hot days in the water! Lexi LOVED it! Lexi's friend Whitney turned 2 a few weeks after Lexi did and so we spent the first part of her birthday with them at Zoombezi Bay...
Here's Lexi, Whitney, and Jadyn on the turtle slide....
Lexi and Whitney "swimming". These girls get so CRAZY around each other! They squeal and giggle and are up for anything the other one wants to do!
Later that night we went over to Whit's house for some cake and presents...The presents were (of course) enjoyed by all! The tiara, necklace, tutu, and dress up shoes (all of which Lexi is wearing) were some of Whit's birthday gifts!
This is one of the cutest pictures ever...The girls were sitting at a little table eating their cake and ice cream...

We had what seemed like a birthday marathon for a while! Lexi's friend Jadyn turned 2 a few days after Lexi did (we went up to Alum Creek and had a great time, but I forgot my camera). Then the next week Janie turned 2 and we went over to play and eat cute Mickey Mouse cupcakes with her. Then that weekend Austin turned 2 and had a great Diego party (still no camera). Followed by Whit's bday the next week.

Here's the kids at Janie's house (L to R: Lexi, Janie, Austin, Ethan, Maddie, and Nolan)

OSU Football Game and Ward Chili Cook-off

James and I went to our last Buckeye game together...It was a blow out game against Purdue, but it was still fun to do one last time together before we move....On our way out we walked through a VIP parking lot...James was pretty excited about these Ferraris. You could see the entire engine in the back of the red one. Our Ward Chili Cook off was tonight, and we went as the Flintstones. Lexi was so excited to be Pebbles because I told her she gets to wear a dog bone in her hair. She thought that was pretty neat. These were really easy and inexpensive costumes to make...They are made out of sheets from Volunteers of America and the total for all the costumes was about $10.00.

Here's Lexi and Austin and Ethan...

Lexi eating her Mac 'n cheese...Trunk or Treating with daddy...I told Lexi if she said "Cheese!" for my while I took her picture, she could go get more candy. She was a little excited to keep collecting her candy!
Getting some candy from Hillary...
I wish we had a better picture of the 3 of us, but this is as good as it gets...

Circleville Pumpkin Festival

Lexi and I went to the Circleville Pumpkin Festival with some friends from work. We ate yummy food (pumpkin doughnuts!), walked around the craft booths, saw tons of pumpkins, and even watched the baby parade, which Lexi really liked! She kept waving at all the people in the parade and when they would wave back, she would get really excited and say "It's working mom!" Then after each group would go by she would ask who was coming up next. She loved it!
O-H-I-O spelled out in gourds... Lexi and Nolan sitting with the prize winning pumpkins...Possibly my favorite picture ever, minus the lifesaver that is in Lexi's mouth. Nolan comes over every Wednesday while his mom works, and Lexi loves him so much!

Fall Fun

We went to Leed's Farm last weekend with some friends. We got to play in the barn and go down some slides...They had a "sandbox" filled with corn feed that Lexi loved playing in. They had tractors to play with, Lexi tried to swim in it, and they even buried a few of their friends in the corn! Way less messy than a real sand box!Lexi and Mason playing with a tractor...Lexi and Emri petting the goats. We also saw pigs. We rode the Banana Bus...I had to squish in this little thing to fit. They really could use a little padding in those things!
Lexi and Mason held hands walking to the car...

Last week Lexi and I made a trip to visit my parents in South Dakota. One of my best friends from High School got married that weekend, so I had a great time catching up with these girls (Britt and Mandi)...I had a great time chatting with Britt at the wedding...I wish we lived closer! This little girl loves to play dress up!Grandma gave Lexi her first hair cut while we were there!I love this little munchkin!Blowing bubbles...
Lexi with Aunt Kelsie...
Grandpa and Grandma with a very ornery Lexi (she was pretty ornery the whole trip...her 2nd year molars are finally coming in!)
