Here are some recent pictures of Lexie...See anything different about her??

Lexie now has a little additional BLING BLING in her life!!!

Her pediatrician's office offers ear piercing and I've wanted to get it done for months now, but just kept putting it off. Finally, James pushed me to do it so she will look more like a girl since she still does not have much hair! I took Lexie to the doctor last Friday and they said that they could pierce her ears for us before they gave her the 12 month shots. They put numbing cream on her ears for 25 minutes and then the doctor came in and did it, and Lexie didn't even cry at all! (Of course the tears came when she got 3 shots in her thighs!)

12 month appointment update: Lexie is 30" tall (75th percentile) and 21 lbs. 9 oz (60th percentile). Her weight jumped up just a little, she used to always be in the 50th percentile. Everything else looked good, and we now have to go get some routine lab work done. She has been extra ornery lately, but hopefully that will pass soon. She is getting 2 more teeth in so I think that is part of the reason she is being difficult. Otherwise things are going well, and we are grateful to have a healthy baby!
